I'm Fiel, an early career researcher & technologist πΌ
I lead growth and value creation at Roundtable (Developer Camp '26 Winner), where we build a queryable corpus of legislative and administrative instruments, connecting public deliberation to the governing record the instant decisions depend on it. In addition, I research with the leadership of the University of the Philippines, the Atlantic Institute, and the Heinrich BΓΆll Foundation, evolving from summer engagements on existential risks at Oxford, technical AI safety at Charles and the Czech Academy of Sciences, and international trade law at Newcastle.
Beyond, I am a co-founder and director of Safe AI Philippines, where we enable practitioners to transition into public-interest oversight roles in tech. I also join fellow civil society leaders at convenings in the UN to advance international cooperation on AI, extending earlier policy advisory work at a practice I co-founded with counterparts across Asia.
Broadly, I address legibility failures around frontier technologies and food system risks when capital and institutions overlook beings outside prevailing boundaries of moral concern. I focus on evidence, ecosystem building, and financing to reinforce resilience.
When withdrawing from these realms, I read, lift, or actually try to sleep.
